Mapping LA by Night

Just Downtonw's LA Streetlights is an interactive map of street-lighting in Los Angeles. The map features dark extruded building footprints lit up by models of all the city's streetlights. I don't think that the map was created for any other purpose than it looks really striking and provides an interesting map of the city at night.
